Gym Motivation Form The Pros!

Getting to the gym can be tough sometimes. For whatever reason or excuse there might be, some times it just does not happen. And I can sit here all day to give you advice or tips on how to go to the gym and get the best workout there is, but it may just go in one of your ears and out of the other. So I did some searching and found something. It is an article I find motivating and informing also! It is hearing from pros themselves on getting to the gym! Listen up,

Dress The Part:
"Whenever I feel like I want to skip a session, I motivate myseld with a little fitness fashion show. I actually start to try on cute fitness outfits [some faves are lululemon, onzie and Nike]. Playing dress up helps me get motivate each and every time! If it is the weekend and I am running errands. I will put on super cute workout pants, so I am already dressed and setting that mood"

Start your mornings off RIGHT! [Marvelous Monday]

IT IS MONDAY!! The start of a new week, new opportunities, new plans and goals! A fresh start to a new week. I am still in the progress of getting things rolling during the week and for the new year coming but have a big plan this week! So getting back onto my 'Motivation Monday' lets see how things will be going this week.
  • I have a very important job interview Thursday! It is at a hospital as a personal trainer for mental health, disability and recovery. One that will throw my career into a new level and change a ton! It is a challenge to me sense it is an unfamiliar setting and pace, but I am so excited to see how it goes.
  • Getting the workout plan and meal planned for the next two and a half weeks that Raul is here with me. [He is headed off to Montana again to finish school. I am not able to go back this time due to my insurance and safety of my pregnancy. So two months without him. But hey, we have done way longer apart. (: Thank you USMC for preparing me once again. hhahah.]
  • Have Christmas with my dads side on New Years Day! [Sounds weird I know but hey, no one has an excuse to miss it!]
  • Finish mapping out my plans for the new year!! [It is going to be a huge year for Raul and our family. I cannot wait!!!]
  • Start reading a new book!! [I have been slacking on my book reading!]

How to fight the holiday weight gain. [Products]

There is officially NINE days till fall and I am very excited! I am so happy to be with Raul this holiday season and also to be able to attend all the family events actually together. It really brings joy to my heart. We are headed back to Texas this week, making it home before the start of the new week. Exciting, I know! One of the thoughts I keep having however is with the holidays how are we suppose to stay on track but also while enjoying the holidays... Every time we go home to family, well...... we slack off. We eat off schedule and really whatever we want. Which then takes us way off track towards our goals. Now I have planned already upon making it back that we will be going to a sams club and buying our food. I will also be prepping my meals to keep

[for family [my daily count downers] that are reading this, yes I know you are excited!]

Weekend full of blessings. [Marvelous Monday]

Howdy ! I truly hope you had a wonderful weekend. For the first time sense I think I was in school I am asking, 'where did the weekend go?!'. It did not fly by [it really went by perfectly] but boy was it a wonderful weekend! This was mine and Raul's first [settled] in weekend and we made the best out of it.

Texas > Montana

Ohhh Montana... All the things I could say today of only being here a couple days. However before getting on that I want to apologize for being away for about a week now. Having Raul home, visiting people, moving and just getting quality time in; has really put my work and school in the closet. I am back now though!

Currently I have been in Montana sense Friday [not long I know but I have learned some things and seen how different this place is. Before telling you all the stuff with Montana, I just have to tell you about the adventure up here! Raul and I left the 23rd, I took the first shift driving [14 hours, Corsicana, TX > Denver, Colorado] Once making it to Denver it was going on 11 o'clock. I was extremely worn out. We started looking for a hotel and.... the seven that we called were all booked! I became beyond frustrated. After about 30 minutes of calling, we found one. Was about $110 a night. Once getting there, all I seen was pot heads and gangbangers. And by gangbangers I am talking about bandanas out the back pocket. Once we got there and seen where we were staying we had to wait in the car for about 20 minutes. Being we had a 22 and 308 with us that needed to make it to the room... [You think walking in front of potheads or GBers with a 5k gun is a smart idea? Didn't think so.] Sleeping there we heard people all night and one time even thought someone was trying to come into the room. Thankfully Cash has become a guard dog and very protective now with us.

A kid in a candy store! [Cabela's]

"Would I sound crazy if I told you that I want you to buy a gun...?" The sentence I thought I would never say to Raul. Really after we just dropped an arm and a leg on his custom 308. However today after Raul's appointment we went to Cabela's. I have never been and the only thing Raul would say is you might find something you will like. Once seeing a billboard saying 'wilderness' on the Cabela's sign, I turned to Raul and just said 'really...?' with the most annoyed look. [Now I love Bass Pro but am so sick of Gander Mnts [they have nothing I am interested in really..] Driving up to Cabela's I seen how big the place was. Which is big HUGE!!!! The inside however, was something I could not have imagined.....

It is a Marvelous Monday.

Howdy Y'all! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and has started the new week with a bang! Yesterday marked the seventh day of Raul being home [a full week !!] and it has been great to have him here. We have been visiting a few people, having family time, gym and all the other great thing while just enjoying the time here in Corsicana. Now I know I usually post the high lights of this week and about how the week before was, however this will be different. Last week consisted of traveling, adjusting to life of freedom, and just relaxing. And this week, I could not tell you what we have going on at all [which is different for me..]. We do have 10 more days here in Texas though, so the big move is near! Exciting I know! I cannot wait to see all what Montana has to offer and experience new things. With Raul there also, it is going to be a blast!

I've waited two years for this moment. [Marvelous Monday]

Good Morning Y'all ♥ ! I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July weekend and it was filled with happiness, thankfulness and family! I was able to spend quality time with my parents as it being my last weekend here and got to head down to Corsicana for a 4th of July Lunch. I absolutely loved seeing my family and even my in laws (:  I also finally packed my bags for Corsciana and Montana [Yeahh... took me long enough. Procrastination that is. It only took me about an hour to actually pack my things.] I cooked my last home meal for my parents today [sour cream chicken enchiladas] They were delicious and I went to my church for the last time [that was tough] but I actually also was able to just relax this weekend. Now, although it was a good weekend, I am happy to have said good bye to it. The week I have been waiting for, for two years now; is finally here! Yes I said two years. This is the week Raul ends his four year contract with the United States Marine Corps. Now do you understand my excitement? You don't to the full extend unless you have a family member or loved one in the military. That is okay though. I will explain my excitement.

Marvelous Monday

After an eventful weekend, I am so happy for it to be a new week! As I mentioned in my last Monday's post I was having my birthday celebration over the weekend [Ended up going to Tallywackers, Drag Show, Celebrate Freedom, and a family dinner at On The Border]To say the least, it was an experience! Also I will never be going to a drag show again [yes, I went to one...] Besides that I got to spend some time with wonderful family members of mine and I finished my book 'winners never cheat by. Jon M. Huntsman'. However, I did not get to pack my suit case and bags for Montana nor start the book I have planned. Instead I started one of the books I picked up from Mardel this past Tuesday, 'The power of a praying wife. by. Stormie Omartian.', which is really a great book so far!
Now this week is going to be GREAT ! For one reason,.....

Liebster Award [Marvelous Monday]

Mondays are really the best day of the week to me. I love them! Starting a fresh week, it's the day after church, having things planed ahead to do, I love it all. Monday's however really go unappreciated. I think because people are following a routine they hate.. Going to a job they do not like, Waking up at a time that they think humans should not be able to function at, or just to go to school.. I mean really who likes school... I use to feel this way about the start of a new week before I dropped all that 'average living' of things that did not make me happy.  Which made me decide to start blogging on 'Marvelous Monday', this is for me to take the time out of my day to post about the things that make me happy, excited and what I have planned for the week! Sometimes this is nothing 'special' but others I have a very exciting week! So here we go!

The book that changed my life. [Marvelous Monday]

Being productive and being busy are not necessarily the same things.
Doing things will not create you success, doing the right things will.

Growing up I hated reading... Wait no, I despised it! I barely had a passing grade in English, my mom would read my books and write the summaries for me and you want to talk about summer reading? Yeah right. Whatever.... After graduating and getting into college I read a quote, "80 percent of people do not read another book for the rest of their lives after high school." I thought this was insane... Not wanting to be a number in the statistics, I picked up some books. Quickly learning I am the type of reader that if it is not true and does not improve me in any way; I wont read it. I just can not. It is boring....I don't understand it... And I am a very creative person. But with books? Nope.

I screwed up... [Marvelous Monday]

I thought "fast and easy" was best...

Just as sooo many people do now.
If you follow me on social media, You have also seen me post the two middle pictures as my 'transformation'. And with this I have got soo many questions on how could you have been 'big and small to now being fit?' Well this is how...
This is ME!
