Build muscle on a $50, $75 or $100 / week budget !

Can today be over with yet? Just kidding. But seriously I feel like a train hit me this morning. My body is extremely burned out and way sore from workouts [thankfully Saturday is our rest day... however I don't think walking miles hunting helps..] I even slept in till almost ten because I just did not want to move.. Yeahhh, it is some serious business. However today will be a great day [I am going to make it into one.] We have a meeting with our mentors today, Today is once again chest and triceps, and we get to go out to eat at buffalo wild wings!!! I have been waiting weeks to go eat there. Thanks babe! Oh and we only have 9 more days till we leave back to Texas. So heads up high, shaking off this sore body and carrying on!

So talking to Raul yesterday about food, I seen that we run out of almost all our food today and tomorrow. Meaning it is grocery shopping time! I am wanting to test out Sams club or Costco though to see how much money we can save! However then again buying in bulk, is not smart when we are leaving so soon. So Walmart it is again! Raul and I right now spend about $80-90 a week in groceries. [This is not bulking season either.] In California when we both were bulking, we would spend about $130 a week in groceries! That is about $520 a month just in food. Not our supplements or extras we want.

Tips & Advice on why to get your S/O in the gym! [plus date ideas!]

The gym is a whole different world when Raul is in there with me. The atmosphere seems different and my mind set is even different. [In a good way] Although I may be more of the talker "one more, you got it, come on babe.", and when mostly 'come on weak sauce' is what comes out of his mouth. [Okay, I am guilty off that also with the occasional butt slap at the end of a set.] But it is very motivating having him there. I honestly feel more powerful. I guess that is really because I push myself to my limits when with him. I mean seriously... I do not want to look like a weakling to him. I do want to make him proud to be in the gym with me and for me to show him I am really trying to improve myself. [nothing wrong with that at all. I did not say I go to the gym for him. Do not get those two confused.] It really is great though seeing me and him grow together. Pushing one another, keeping each other accountable and even flexing together in the mirrors.

Someone say workout clothes!? [Talk about it Thursday]

Workout clothes seem to be the new daily clothing. Even for those who do not work out. Which I have yoga pants, however you wont catch me in a yoga class more than once a week. So I am guilty of that also. Have you worn some of those though!? AMAZING! Most comfortable things on earth. Same with spandex, running shorts, tights, open back shirts, tank tops and my favorite of all motivational shirts! You know what shirts I am talking about. The workout shirts that have awesome/funny/cute sayings on them? Yup those. I have been trying to figure out really why a lot of people wear them. They wear them with blue jean shorts, workout shorts, to sleep in, etc. Me personally I wear them to the gym and the gym only. [Which if you wear them another time of the day; there is nothing wrong with that. YOU DO YOUR THING!]

The start of a new life.

I think I finally got it. It took about 10 days but I think I am finally there. I have adjusted to Raul being back. Which when I say this, a lot of people take it the wrong way. They look at me and ask, 'is something wrong with you and Raul?' or 'is it not the same?'. I by no means, am saying it negatively. But if you have been in a relationship of months-years apart and little to no communication at times or all the time; It is

Montana here I come [Talk about it Thursday]

I have less than a week until I am reunited with Raul for good. To be more specific, TUESDAY is my last day! And even better; July 23rd we will be headed to the gorgeous state of Montana. Now I say gorgeous because of all the pictures I have seen and all the wonderful words from everyone, but I have not been to Montana [yet]. Loving out doors and adventure I keep hearing this is the place for Raul and I! So I have been searching. Lots and lots of searching. Best places to eat, concerts, festivals, events, trails, hikes, fishing spots, historical land marks, EVERYTHING! And there are some awesome things I am finding. I have also started a pinterest board on places to go and things to see there as well. So if you have ever been to the state of Montana and have some good spots you would like to share, I am all ears!

I am going to share with you some of the amazing things I have found and am planning to check out with Raul in our time away from his schooling! [There will be more I continue to add on as the time grows closer to moving there as well as sharing my experience on them all!]

13 reasons you are not losing weight. [Talk about it Thursday]

"Miriah, I just cannot lose weight...I am doing everything I am suppose to but I am still not seeing any difference."

I hear this a lot and the reasons on why most people are not losing weight, is for reasons they do not even notice! Not right off the back anyways. After going through trouble shooting with my clients and reflecting on their daily routine, not only can I point out things that are stopping them but also they start to see it. "Wait... I have been _____." and "Do you think ____ could be a problem with me not losing weight?". Which there is nothing at all to be shamed about. Nor any reason not to grab someone, sit down with them and just say, "hey I am having trouble losing weight. Can you help me found out why.". With many people doing this with me, I have decided to bring to light some of the top reasons on why most people just are not losing weight. Here they are;

Stop and open your eyes to what is in front of you. [Talk about it Thursday]

Last Tuesday [thankful Tuesday] I posted a blog about my four legged son and how he has helped me over the past year. And throughout this whole week I have been thinking about the things I am truly grateful to have in my life. The things that really make me happy. I kept coming up with the things I can physically do; camping, hiking, working out, hanging out with family, drawing, getting tattoos, spending time with Raul, hunting, church, eating some pizza, etc.

Embrace the glorious mess that you are. [Talk about it Thursday]

Everyone on social media usually shows the beauty in their life but never the darkness. They show how their life is truly so perfect but not really what is behind closed doors. Which don't get me wrong, I totally get. You do not want people to know your business. Or maybe you just want people to think you really have it all together [which we all know you really don't all of the time. it is okay.] However I am going to share something short with you that happened this morning and the morning before..... well really it happens a lot. But I get a lot of comments on it, joked about and asked how. And every time I sit there and think in my head. Gosh if you only knew. Then I think maybe it is because I put on this face, like this is so easy and I am the freaking bomb all of the time. Well..... I am not. And what I am talking about is how this fitness lifestyle is so easy. [Which this relates with life also.] I am going to be honest and real. I am going to speak from the heart and let you see the true me.

Take your dreams seriously! [Talk about it Thursday]

They say things worth having never come easy. Do you agree? I do.
In every aspect of life you are given things, you work towards things, you face choices..
 Every single day.
Now let me ask you, what are your reasons for your decisions and steps you are taking?
What is your purpose? What is your goal? Do you even have one?

So you want to lose weight? [Talk about it Thursday]

Did you know that at least 2.8million people
worldwide die each year from being obese or overweight? What about the thought
of these deaths could be prevented? Yeahhhhh…. Just let that sink in.

Started from the bottom. [Talk about it Thursday]

So, one of my goals in starting a successful business for myself is to
inspire people
I mean why else would you want to work with someone if what they stand for doesn't grab your attention?
